Whether this is true or not, we can only understand if we actually meet our doppelgänger. But how similar do we need to be to another person in appearance, habits, and so on, to be able to claim that this person is your doppelgänger?
So, what exactly is a doppelgänger? How is this term interpreted in dictionaries?
A doppelgänger is a person who physically resembles another person but is not their close biological relative.
It turns out that a doppelgänger cannot be a close relative, but simply, for some reason, possibly due to genetic factors (similar DNA), is very similar to another person.
