Freddie Combs, a memorable contestant from the second season of The X Factor in the United States, passed away at the age of 49.

His wife, Kay Combs, shared that he passed away on September 10 in a Florida hospital due to kidney failure.
A preacher by profession, Freddie faced several health challenges throughout his life. In 2009, he weighed 417 kg, but through sheer determination, he was able to reduce his weight to 245 kg. Before appearing on The X Factor, he had featured on TLC’s Ton of Love in 2010.
Although he was eliminated early on the show, his unforgettable performance left a lasting mark.
Kay, who stood by his side for 25 years as his wife and best friend, expressed her gratitude for sharing her life with him.
