The matter is that the gentlemen were returning from a banquet celebrating the anniversary of their good friends’ marriage. However, halfway through, their coachman stopped and asked for the opportunity to step away for literally two minutes.
It’s been over an hour now, but the coachman hasn’t returned from the woods. What possible courses of action could be relevant:
– The gentlemen will leave the coachman and go on their own, but in this case, the man (gentleman) does not know how to drive the carriage, and besides, he drank quite a bit of wine at the banquet.
– Go into the woods and find the coachman, but the woods are dense, and the gentlemen are afraid to go into them.
